2004
In 2004 Anton Mazrekaj founds Global Forwarding in the beautiful port city Hamburg. His vision to offer first-class consulting services becomes reality.
2005
The company grows: in 2005 Global Forwarding already consists of four employees.
2008
In 2008, the future course is set. The first trainee starts his training at Global Forwarding
2010
In 2010, the company headquarters moves to Rubbertstraße in Hamburg Wilhelmsburg, a logistically optimal location. From the 4,000 m² storage area, shipments are made all over the world.
2011
A new peak has been reached: the annual handling of rolling cargo exceeds the 5,000-unit mark.
2012
In 2012, annual container throughput also reached a new high of over 3,000 TEU.
2013
A constantly growing team: 13 employees now work at Global Forwarding.
2014
A year in which a lot happens: the outdoor storage space in Hamburg Wilhelmsburg is expanded to 6,000 m² and the first branch in Berlin is opened.
2016
The Berlin branch moves. From now on, 1,500 m² of outdoor storage space are available.
2018
Focused on the future: The eighth trainee is already starting his training at Global Forwarding.
2020
The Hamburg headquarters moves and expands significantly. The area in Müggenburger Straße in Veddel is expanded to 12,500 m².
